Our people

Industrial experience, built into every engagement.

IICG brings together a dedicated multidisciplinary team of professionals with deep experience across manufacturing, procurement, cost engineering, supplier development, programme management and consulting.

Close to the product and the process

A consulting team that has worked where cost is created.

Our professionals have spent years close to the product and the process: working with manufacturing operations, suppliers, shop floors, category teams, product programmes and large-scale industrial organisations. Several members of the team bring a decade or more of hands-on industrial and consulting experience.

That experience spans direct materials and manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, forging, casting, machining and electrical systems, alongside indirect procurement, packaging and other industrial spend categories.

The result is a consulting team that moves comfortably between engineering detail, supplier economics, commercial strategy and management decision-making.

The team

Shop-floor depth. Boardroom clarity.

We combine operating experience with structured consulting methods, rigorous analytics and programme discipline, to turn industrial complexity into decisions management teams can act on.

Leadership

Senior leadership.

Anshuman Sharma

Founder & Director

Shop floor to boardroom, across the full industrial lifecycle.

Anshuman Sharma is the Founder and Director of IICG, where he leads client relationships, practice development and the specialist teams built around each mandate.

His career spans leading automotive OEMs, Tier-1 manufacturing organisations and global strategy consulting, with leadership across industrial strategy, procurement and supply-chain transformation, strategic sourcing, cost and value engineering, supplier development, new-product development and complex programme execution.

A mechanical engineer by training, he has worked across the full industrial lifecycle: from engineering, design and development interfaces, new-project sourcing and supplier industrialisation, through prototypes, tooling and launch, to series production, localisation and lifecycle cost improvement. His programmes have covered complete vehicles, from passenger cars, buses and trucks to motorcycles and scooters, as well as automotive systems, subassemblies and wider industrial products. Among them, he led prototype development for a leading OEM’s first BS-VI buses and trucks: sixty vehicles, every one built successfully as a first prototype and taken into production on time.

His work has taken him from shop floors, supplier plants and engineering programmes to procurement leadership and boardroom decision forums, leading cross-functional teams and advising CXO-level leadership on cost, sourcing, supply, growth and transformation. His international experience spans India and Germany, with supplier, sourcing and market exposure across Europe, including France and Italy, and the major Asian manufacturing economies of China, Japan and South Korea.

At IICG, he brings that operating depth together with consulting discipline, building specialist teams around complex cost, procurement, supplier and industrialisation challenges.
